Construction of the New Ferry for Beloslav Has Officially Begun!

At the “Galera 07” Small Tonnage Shipyard, the official ceremony marked the start of construction of the new ferry for the town of Beloslav.

The new vessel is designed for the transport of passengers, cars, trucks, and other non-rail wheeled and tracked vehicles across Canal No. 2 of the Varna–Beloslav Lake.

It will have the capacity to carry at least 40 motor vehicles and up to 230 passengers on board.

Galera 07 Ltd. is one of the pioneering Bulgarian companies developing entirely green projects in the field of small-tonnage shipbuilding.

The company built Bulgaria’s first fully electric yacht and recently delivered the country’s first electric catamaran to the Municipality of Silistra.

Its tourist catamaran “Burgus”, built in Varna, has for several years operated the line between Burgas Sea Station and St. Anastasia Island.
